I.  Categories of Membership (please check one):

A. ___ Regular Membership: Every company, partnership or corporation engaged in the creation or publication of greeting cards or the distribution of greeting cards at the wholesale level in the United States or Canada is eligible for Regular Membership in this Association.

___ Our firm is engaged in the creation, publication, or distribution of greeting cards at the wholesale level in the United States or Canada.
NOTE: MUST submit 10-12 card samples from your line with membership application.  Cards should be in finished form as sold to consumers; prototypes are not accepted.

B. ___ Regular Subsidiary Membership: Any company, partnership or corporation engaged in the creation or publication of greeting cards which is a subsidiary of a parent entity that is a Regular Member of the Association is eligible to hold a separate Regular Subsidiary Membership.

___ Our firm is engaged in the creation or publication of greeting cards and our parent entity is a Regular Member in good standing of the GCA.
NOTE: MUST submit 10-12 card samples from your line with membership application.   Cards should be in finished form as sold to consumers; prototypes are not accepted.

C. ___ Affiliate Membership: Every company, partnership or corporation engaged in the manufacturing or distribution of related paper products (including Social Stationery, Giftwrap, Partyware) on the wholesale level in the United States or Canada, but ineligible for Regular or Associate Membership in this Association as such memberships are defined, is eligible for Affiliate Membership in this Association.

D. ___ Associate Membership: Every company, partnership or corporation engaged in a business which is kindred to or allied with the creation or publication of greeting cards at the wholesale level in the United States or Canada is eligible for Associate Membership in this Association.

NOTE: Application will not be processed without payment of dues enclosed (see Membership Dues schedule below).  Membership is contingent upon Board approval. Please check with your sales department to determine the appropriate level of dues.  All dues payments are kept on a strictly confidential basis. Sample Cards (in finished form -- no prototypes) are required for approval of Membership for Regular and International Membership. Dues paid to the organization are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes.  Membership dues are, however, deductible for most members as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
