An overview of some of the lasting trends and implications for the mailing and greeting card industry, and how USPS is meeting the new normal.

10:15-11 am      How Anti-Ageist Birthday Cards Help Change the Narrative
In order to get across Changing the Narrative’s message of age-inclusiveness, the group landed on birthday cards as a tangible example of ageism that is often treated as humorous and acceptable. They felt that with so many greeting cards purchased by women 40+, there were many who did not want to buy and send ageist, sometimes even insulting, cards to their friends. Hear the story of how the group launched a competition encouraging artists to design anti-ageist birthday cards, the diversity of the cards produced, and check out the best sellers in Changing the Narrative’s booth at *Noted.

Open to Attendees Only. Retailers are always looking for a fresh selection of cards from up-and-coming new makers. If you are always looking for what’s new, don’t miss these pitches from makers in business for three years or less as they share their stories and pitch their cards to retailers Woods Grove, Calliope, Barque Gifts, Annie’s Blue Ribbon General Store, and Crow & Canary.

Tune in to watch them pitch their products – Shark Tank style!
