Call for Presentations

The Greeting Card Association invites you to submit your presentation ideas for consideration for a webinar, session at an upcoming Workshop + Retreat, or other learning opportunity. Our Call for Presentations is open year-round, though we typically heavily review presentation submissions in April and May for our annual Workshop + Retreat which takes place in October.

AUDIENCE

From the founders and makers at small independent publishers to the leaders of global companies with thousands of employees, our audience brings a diverse perspective on the art and business of making greeting cards from across the country.

Still, we try to balance content that assists both individual makers just getting started and veteran companies facing their own set of challenges. One thing we all have in common is a love of paper and a dedication to fostering connections through greeting cards: a product which we believe has increasing relevance in a world over-crowded with communication tools.

SUBMISSIONS

Identical or duplicate submissions will not be accepted. Presenters are required to upload a photograph and a bio at the time abstracts are submitted. Bios are limited to a maximum of 500 words. The goal of the presenter bio is to provide us with a high-level view of your career and your major accomplishments.

Please keep the abstract length to < 300 words.

We are interested in hearing from Makers, Brand Builders, Creative Directors, CMOs, CEOs, CFOs, Retailers, Buyers, Industry Suppliers, Communications Strategists, PR Gurus, and Futurists: anybody who can speak topics relevant to the greeting card industry, business ownership, and more.
