Dear GCA Member:

We’re off and running!

It was great to re-connect with so many GCA members and industry friends at our annual Atlanta Reception.  And how absolutely terrific it was to see and experience the positive vibe at America’s Mart.

This month, a panel of 19 judges (including a Blue Ribbon Panel) reviewed, studied, evaluated, discussed and selected this year’s LOUIE finalists and winners.  We’ll all have to wait until May to find out who the winners are! Thank you, judges, for taking two long days out of your week to lend your expertise – without you, we wouldn’t have the LOUIEs. Thank you to each and every company that submitted an entry – and to Nicole Hite-Heleniak for her tremendous work planning what we know will be an out of this world – “universe of wonders” LOUIE Gala!   I encourage you to check out the benefits of LOUIE sponsorship – don’t be shut out of this fun and rewarding evening! We will sell out!

We are wrapping up our report on the GCA/Stationery Trends survey and all participants will receive a copy by month’s end.  As we gear up for a new and improved survey process, I hope we will hear from you.  Your voice – and our collective voice – is an asset on Capitol Hill, with the media and in other venues and we want to make sure that your voice is heard – and counted.

Also arriving in your mailbox soon is our brand new edition of the Associates Resource Guide. We are pleased that all of our Associate members will be featured in this year’s Guide.

Stay tuned for more information on “Good Vibrations/Bold Inspirations, GCA’s 76th Annual Convention in San Diego.  We’re hoping to see many GCA members who are based in California.  A big thank you to Glen Biely for his leadership and to his GCA and Madison Park teams for their hard work in planning what we know will be a wonderful weekend of learning together.

–Carlos

PS – if you have yet to send in your membership renewal, please return it by month’s end.  And if you have renewed, thank you for your support and commitment to the industry.
