DENVER, CO. — October 23, 2026 – The Greeting Card Association (GCA) is happy to announce that its 2027 Greeting Card Conference and the returning 38th Annual Louie Awards Ceremony will take place together in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from September 20–22, 2027.

This multi-day event brings together publishers, artists, suppliers, and retailers from across the country to connect and celebrate. To accommodate the diverse needs of the industry, the GCA will once again offer flexible registration options, including the return of the condensed Mini Conference track alongside the full multi-day program.

Submissions are officially open for the 38th Annual Louie Awards until January 14, 2027. To learn more about categories, pricing, and timeline, or to submit your entries for the ceremony, please visit the GCA Louie Awards Information Page.

“I’m so excited to have the Louie Awards Ceremony partner with the GCA Conference again in 2027! The conference is already such a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired by our industry. Bringing the Louies into that experience makes it even more special, giving us a chance to recognize the incredible creativity and talent behind the cards we love,” said Michele Byrne, Chair of the Louie Awards Committee.

Lauren Harms, 2027 Conference Committee Chair, added: “I can’t wait to welcome the GCA to Albuquerque and the Land of Enchantment! After attending the past three years, the conference has quickly become one of my favorite yearly events. It’s a chance to unplug from day-to-day business, reconnect with colleagues, learn, and gain insights. I’m excited to serve as chair and collaborate with the committee to craft a captivating conference. New Mexico has a deep history of art, creativity, and ingenuity; as well as excellent hospitality and food. This will be a conference bursting with flavor and inspiration!”

More details on registration, hotel booking, programming, and sponsorship opportunities will be shared in the coming months. For now, please save the dates; we can’t wait to bring our entire community together in New Mexico.
