GREETING CARD ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES VIRTUAL LOUIE AWARDS EVENT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ATLANTA MARKET & INTERNATIONAL MARKET CENTERS

The virtual celebration will take place at the Atlanta Market July 30, 2020

Washington, DC – June 5, 2020The Greeting Card Association (GCA) is excited to announce a new partnership with the Atlanta Market and International Market Centers (IMC) to host a Virtual LOUIE Awards Event.

The 2020 winners will be announced in a virtual event sponsored by the Atlanta Market on July 30, 2020. More information is available at GreetingCard.org/LOUIE-Awards. In addition to the virtual event, the Atlanta Market will present a showcase of the 2020 LOUIE Awards winners at their August 13 – 18 market.

“While we are disappointed that COVID has forced us to cancel the LOUIE live event twice this year—first at Noted in May and then the rescheduled event at the July Atlanta show—we are very pleased that we will be conducting the very first LOUIE Awards virtual presentation event on July 30, in partnership with IMC. The marketing and other support IMC will provide will introduce LOUIE Award winners to tens of thousands of retailers, and the virtual watch event will ensure broader exposure to makers, retailers, and sales reps alike.  We hope #LouieWatchParty will trend nicely!!” says George White, GCA President.

The LOUIE Awards is an annual event that celebrates the art, editorial, and design of greeting cards, invitations and announcements, and reinforces the relevance of sending and receiving cards and invitations. This year’s winners were selected by a panel of industry experts from 55 finalists chosen from 140+ companies and 600+ entries. View the full list of finalists here.

Registration details for the Virtual LOUIE Awards Event will be available on the GCA website in the coming weeks.
