DENVER, CO (September 23, 2022) – “Mother’s Day Card” by Quilling Card, was named the “Consumer’s Choice” of the 33rd Annual Louie Awards winners. Unique from the other awards that were judged by 42 industry judges, the Consumer Choice Award was open to the card buying public to vote for their favorite card of the year from the 53 Louie Award winning cards.
Over 1,000 votes were cast, with 24% going to Quilling Card’s Mother Day Card to take home first place, “It’s a special feeling to know that your design resonates with others in a way it was intended to. Being able to create a card that many people can connect with in their own unique way is what we are always striving to accomplish,” said Sara Schofield, Chief Design Officer at Quilling Card.
Launched in 1988, the “Louies” celebrate the best greeting cards of the year, and are named in honor of Louis Prang, the German-born Boston lithographer and publisher known as the “Father of the American Christmas Card.” The Louie Awards are open to all card publishers in the U.S. and throughout the world.
